Mimi hits NYC!
Boing! How are my lovely readers doing? As I write this, I am listening to my Christmas playlist (NYSNC has the best Christmas songs).
Down below is my New York City update, much belated, but sweet all the ways! Check it out...

We started early with some art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I'm still bummed about running out of time and not being able to see the Ancient Egyptian exhibitions. We directly headed to Korea-town by Subway (which scares me every time) to get some dinner. We went into this Food Court with small little Korean restaurant stores in one large building and immediately fell in love. Mother and I were craving traditional Korean school food (the food sold on streets outside of schools); of course I haven't been in Korea to have them in such atmosphere, but mother always makes them at home for me. hehe.

We went to The Gochujang: Korean School Food; Gochujang basically means Hot Pepper Paste in Korean. We ordered: Fry Variety, Hot Fish Cake Soup, and Spicy Rice Cakes. The quantity was so much, father had to help us finish it, hehe. Lil' sister, Yejin had this urge to eat sushi, so checked out Mr. Fish. It was funny because all the foods on the menu were named after K-pop stars, Yejin had Sistar Sushi, harhar.

| Pretty! |
After thirty minutes of skating and whatnots, we trekked to Times Square! CHEESE!
It was around 11PM when we got back to our little apartment-hotel place of stay. It was so cute..

Next morning, we united with Uncle who had come from Switzerland for a medical retreat. Needing some warm soup, we had traditional Korean Beef Soup at GangNaMoogul. Yum.
The day basically ended with bread from Tour Les Jours, shopping at Korean supermarkets, and selfies at IKEA. That's my New York City trip in a nutshell. Nuts.![]() |
