gimme sashimi!!
haaaaiii readers! I hope we all are having great week, ㅅㅇㅅ! As you might predict, I am feeling greater in spirit (I'm guessing it's the lazy weekend that's giving me such a boost), heeehe. I completely told myself I was not going to lose to the semi-annual sales going on right now, but I did. Grr, I'm such a shopaholic. Speaking of, I'm planning on watching Confessions of a Shopaholic this week(?), or month...again. Haha, best movie ever made.
Oh, yeah, the blog post.
Our family was invited to this excellent sushi place when my father's brother came to visit us; apparently, our uncle, the person with the invitation and the owner were all pretty familiar with each other. The owner made sure we ate, a lot. It was pretty exciting; basicially, large plates of sashimi, sushi, and other Asian specialties just continued coming our way. If I haven't mentioned, sushi is one of my favorites. todiefor.

This was the first main dish; I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but it was squid (calamari), scallops, and some other ingredient mixed together in a semi-sweet&spicy sauce.

I KNOW, it looks like it's missing a piece. It is, my brother whipped one off before I could take the picture. *fists* But this was...tofu, I think, covered in breadcrumbs. Not sure.

After we were mostly bloated and started the deep convos, we were awarded with breadcrumb crusted fried shrimp and fried sweet potatoes. Soo yum.

Udon Noodles! The warmy, final delish. Right as we were thinking of finishing up, everyone got a bowl of some noodles.

Probably the best time I've had at a sushi restarurant. I want more. Grrr!
